SUPERMODEL Cara Delevingne could star with gal pal Michelle Rodriguez in a remake of Thelma & Louise.
Fast & Furious star Rodriguez has long been in talks to star in the remake of the 1991 road trip classic.
Now, she’s using her clout to bring rumoured girlfriend Delevingne on board, reports The Sun.
“Michelle is heavily in demand to take the lead after her success in The Fast And The Furious,” a source told the tabloid.
“A few names have been mentioned as her co-star, including Kristen Steward, Annalynne McCord and Leighton Meester – but Michelle is pushing for Cara.”
“She thinks she would light up the screen and that the pair of them would be a huge hit together.”
The original film starred Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon as fed-up women who ditch their partners for a fun weekend getaway and end up on the run from the law.
Delevingne has long set her sights on an acting career, and has landed a role in the Amanda Knox film The Face of an Angel.
The British model and Rodriguez are also reportedly looking for a place to live together in London, after being spotted drunkenly kissing and cuddling at a New York basketball game.
Rodriguez also joined Delevingne and mates for a game of paintball last week to celebrate the supermodel’s birthday.
